1. Returns and Refunds

Under Irish and EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your order without giving any reason.

This is known as the “cooling-off period.”

To be eligible for a return:

The book(s) must be in their original condition – unused, unmarked, and undamaged.

Returns must include any packaging or promotional materials that came with the item.

2. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return:

   1. Email us at hello@danielosullivan.ie within 14 days of receiving your order.

   2. Please include your order number, name, and reason for return.

   3. Once your return is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your item(s).

Please note:

You will be responsible for the cost of return postage, unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

We recommend using a tracked postal service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

3. Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you and process your refund.

Refunds will be made to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

If your return is due to an error on our part (e.g. you received the wrong book or a damaged copy), we will also refund your shipping costs.

4. Damaged or Faulty Items

If you receive a book that is damaged or defective, please contact us at hello@danielosullivan.ie within 7 days of delivery.

Include a description and photograph of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you.

5. Exclusions

Please note that the right to cancel does not apply to:

Digital or downloadable books (once download has begun).

Books returned in non-resalable condition (e.g. used, marked, or damaged by the customer).
